One Month Down, Awards and the Mission

Hi Crew
We’ve now made it through the first month of the USS Manoora! Congratulations and a big thank you to everybody for signing up. I’m very pleased to have such a great group of writers come aboard so quickly.
At the beginning of May, we didn’t exist. Now, we’ve got 10 writers and nearing the end of our prologue mission. That’s fantastic! Well done to everybody.
Awards
The awards for May are a little thin, but they will increase next month. For our first month, I only wanted to make a couple of awards – Captain’s Merit and Post of the Month. Without further ado, the recipients are:
Captain’s Merit Award: Lieutenant Commander Alexander Gunning
Post of the Month Award: “One Last Hurrah” by Captain Rennan Aamas
Congratulations to Commander Gunning and Captain Aamas on their awards.

Wrapping up the Prologue
Our prologue mission is nearing completion. Most of the crew positions are filled and everybody has got their characters aboard ship. The launch post is underway and we’ve also started a post where we rendezvous with the USS Dromodon to pick up our marine fighter flight.
These two posts will finish off the prologue mission and I’m very keen to get it done and dusted by June 15. Can you try to get in and answer any tags as well as complete any joint or solo posts you want to get up for the prologue mission by then?
We’ll then launch into our first mission – the attack on Torros III.
Keep up the fantastic work, everybody! You’re as great a crew as I could have imagined when setting up this sim and I’m really looking forward to taking the fight to the Dominion.
