Physical Description | Fairly small in stature, Samantha is able to fit herself into spaces that are much too small for some of her male colleagues. Her hair is about shoulder length and straight, and cut to keep it out of her eyes as much as possible. She'll sometimes wear it in a pony tail if it starts to get in her way. Her uniform is rarely pristine, and she doesn't tend to care whenever she gets grease or dirt on it. She'll often push the sleeves up as she works, or ditch the jacket and work in the yellow undershirt instead. |
Family
Personality & Traits
General Overview | Sam has always liked fixing things, ever since she was a kid. Her parents would often come home to either find some piece of technology from the house dismantled on the kitchen table, or to find a faulty bit of kit they were about to throw out brilliantly repaired. Sam was never short of confidence in her abilities, and though she is rarely cocky, sometimes the overconfidence she has in herself can be to a detriment.
Strengths & Weaknesses | Extremely skilled with electronics Very sure of herself Can be overconfident and boastful |
|
Ambitions | Sam has no desires on the captain's chair, or the admiral's desk. She would hate the people work and paper work that would involve. Sam's sole ambition is to work on the best ships and best engines she can, and to have fun doing it.
Hobbies & Interests | Sam's hobbies have largely ran in parallel to her career; she loves building things and taking things apart. Her personal collection of models - from plastic to wooden to fabricated metal - is extremely varied, and collected not for the value of the items they replicate, but for the act of building them. She was encouraged to diversify her hobbies at the Academy, and proved fairly good at a few sports, but rarely goes back to them since graduating. |
